When Delilah wants to do something, she doesn’t stop until she does it. This can sometimes be good and other times bad. When she was younger, she had a plot to get rid of her step-mom, sure that she was a witch. Even though she sounded crazy when she explained this to her Dad, she carried on trying to prove her guilty of witch craft until she gave up a few years later. She doesn’t often give up, she is very persistent and keeps to that. She makes her views on things very strong. She likes people to know her opinion on things, even if they won’t like it.
Confidence
Delilah is a very confident girl and she doesn’t let the thoughts of others get to her. She likes to meet new people, whether they become her friends or foes. She isn’t often afraid of people or situations. She has a slight attitude that she uses towards people she dislikes. She is fine letting people she dislikes know that she doesn’t like them. She isn’t a loner but she is perfectly fine with her own company.
Trustworthy
She is a loyal friend and will even keep the secrets of her foes. She often puts herself in sticky situations, finding out people’s secrets and is often forced to keep them. She doesn’t like to be known as the gossiper so she keeps secrets, just because if they found some of her own she wouldn’t want them spilling them like there’s no tomorrow.

history:
Ella Manning was a dreamer. Both her teachers and her parents didn’t expect her to do well in life; she had that air about her. And their expectations were correct. At sixteen she dropped out of school, a baby due in a few months, engaged to a man who was the most unlikely person that would propose to her that graced the Earth. Of course he had only asked her to marry him because it would be a disgrace not to since he was the father of her baby.
Eric Thomas was a rich man. He was very intelligent and twelve years older then his fiancée. Of course his parents didn’t approve of Ella. Their son was supposed to marry a sensible girl, sensible and clean cut, no a hair out of place. Ella was far from that. Her baby was born, as tiny as herself with the same piercing blue eyes and tufts of the lightest blonde hair- very similar to her own. Of course Ella didn’t stick around long enough to see how much her baby looked like her. After a year of the life she had with Eric, they still weren’t married and Ella grew bored of the stay-at-home lifestyle. She was nearly eighteen, she didn’t want a baby weighing down her party life. So she left a note and vanished mysteriously, claiming that Delilah would have a better lifestyle with a rich man.
Delilah was a funny girl. Not strange funny, but humorous funny. Her home life with her father was perfect, the bond between them great. The absence of her mother didn’t upset her too much, she loved her father and felt that it was okay without her mother. She felt that everything in her life was perfect. And then along came Sarah.
Jessica worked with Eric, she was the sensible girl Eric’s parents had always wanted him to marry. Sensible and boring. She hated Delilah’s presence, and the nine year old girl decided it was because her step-mom to be wanted Eric to herself and wanted to have her own children, not some silly step-daughter.
From then on Jessica was constantly on Delilah’s back, nagging her about her grades, about the untidiness of her room, about everything. In Jessica’s eyes, all Delilah did was bad. She never said anything positive. When she complained to her Dad, he said she was just being silly. So life became incredibly dull for Delilah, with her step mom constantly breathing down her neck.

“- Sorry, got to dash- crazy step-mom!” Delilah explained, hanging up the phone and finally responding to her step-mom, Jessica’s, shouting. She sighed angrily, getting off the bed where she had been lying, talking to a friend. Her expression was dull, Jessica sounded angry. Could the woman ever find anything Delilah-related happy? Obviously not. She crumbled something under her breath, making her way to the door as the anger-freak shouted again from downstairs. “Okay! I’m coming! Keep your fake boobs on.” she shouted back, laughing lightly under her breath knowing that the last request would irk the woman.
As she made her way down the wooden stairs, hand on the banister to stop herself falling on the well-polished floor in her socks, she found the brunette glaring at her angrily, holding up a top that looked like it could fit Delilah’s tiny figure. “You bought me clothes? Thanks.” she said sarcastically, offering her a sickly sweet smile as fake as her step-mother’s necklace that hung round her neck. As Jessica ranted on at her about shrinking her favourite top in the wash, Delilah simply rolled her electric blue eyes. “Well I guess in future you shouldn’t force be to do your laundry if you don’t like the results.” she explained, glaring at the woman.
At this the woman who she was expected to call Mom grabbed her wrist, mentioning something about how she wasn’t to be so sarcastic. Marching her into the kitchen where her father was reading a newspaper dated the day before, she snatched her wrist back, glaring at the older woman. “It wasn’t like I meant to.” she told her father’s exhausted eyes, before returning to her room like he then told her to do so. It wasn’t her fault she hadn’t set the clothes machine right. Why did Jessica hate her guts? ‘Because she knows I hate her‘ she thought, flopping back onto her bed.
