Happy-go-Lucky
Evan likes to look not he bright side of life. He doesn’t think it’s worth moping over small problems or short comings, after all you only have one life. Unless of course you believe in reincarnation, but he thinks you should still be optimistic then too. It takes a lot to bring Evan down, and to get him angry you’d practically have to beat a puppy with a stick, or something of that sort.
Athletic
It’s hard for Evan to stay still, but not in the ADD way. He hates sitting around idly, when he could be doing something active. He loathes the fact that his injury limits his physical activity but he tries to do things that don’t so much involve his shoulder. He keeps himself in good shape through his exercise, because with the amount of junk food he eats, if he didn’t he’d blow up like a balloon at a kids party.
Over-Achiever
If there is one thing about Evan that annoys people is his need to be the best. Whether he wants to be the best baseball player, or he wants to make a basket better than you. He’s always been that way, and despite his normal cheery attitude he can get down right fierce when it comes to competition.

hair: Evan has long light blonde hair, the same color as his Mother and younger brother. He never dyes his hair, and probably wouldn’t even consider it.
eyes: Evan has blue eyes that change from a light blue to a stormy gray. His eyes are usually bright and full of life.
body-type: Evan has an athletic build, though not as muscular as he once was, since he had to stop most sports for a while because of his shoulder.
dress-style: Evan will wear anything that is comfortable and he think will look good. At camp he generally wears nice fitting t-shirt, sometimes and tank top, and shorts. Though his normal wear is a bit more refined.

history: (At least four paragraphs)
Evan was born, a surprise baby to two Connecticut yuppies who were trying to work their way up the cooperate ladder. They hadn’t been planning on having a child for quite some time, yet there Evan was.
During the first 3 years of his life Evan was showered with attention from his parents, who seemed to treasure the child they had not planned on. They spent most of their time with him giving him anything he wanted and teaching him to talk and count and anything they could think of. With all the attention baby Evan had his parents wrapped around his chubby little fingers. Until that is they both got promoted the next year.
With their promotion came more work, an less time for Evan, who was now in the care of a nanny. A nanny you liked to smoke while watching cheesy soap operas on the big screen TV in the living room as Evan played quietly with his Tonka trucks and Weebles( which Wobbled, but never did fall down). It seemed that more and more the Marshall parents had less and less time for their sun. after all an executive doesn’t just do work at work, and a new Anchor must be on call at all times.
It wasn’t until Evan was 6, and his younger brother Andy was born that he seemed to get a bit of the attention back. Only because his mother had been on maternity leave. Soon though the nanny was taking care of little baby Andy, and Evan was learning how to add an subtract.
Life went on in the same pattern of not seeing his parents much, only broken up by holidays when neither of the Marshall adults had to work,…well much.
When Evan joined sports in his 6th grade year and showed promise his father became much more interested in him, and took time to come see his games. Seeing a new opportunity to spend time with his father, Evan began joining teams until e found his really love, in the realm of sports that is. Baseball. He was a terrific pitchers and could throw faster and harder than most kids his age. So Evan spent most of his time practicing his throwing and hitting, and pitching.
His high school career was littered with sports awards, academic excellence and a few rather short relationships. Most of the relationships failed because of Evan’s intense focus on his first love, baseball. He received a scholarship to a good school for baseball, where he studied psychology but focused more so on baseball.
It was his Junior year in college when he was injured. While pinch hitting for a kid a pitcher for the other team saw his chance and threw a fast ball right at Evan, who as a switch hitter happened to be facing the pitcher with his pitching arm out. The ball collide with the shoulder breaking bones, ruining the joint and crewing up muscles that were already beginning to ache from the force at which Evan threw.
His parents paid for Evan’s tuition after he lost the scholarship due to injury. He finished out college with 3 major surgeries on his shoulder. He’ll never be able to pitch like he sued to and the muscles still ache. Evan doesn’t hold all the anger he originally did about having to give up his passion, but it still hurts. Psychically and emotionally.
Evan now is working towards his doctorate in psychology and is looking forward towards his future. He also swears he’ll spend as much time with his kids as he can, when he has them, because he doesn’t want his kids to strive so hard for attention like he did.
Now he finds himself as a camp counselor watching the campers in a time of their lives, he seems to have all but forgotten, because it all seems to be a blur of useless school lessons and baseball. Not much of a social life at all.
