Evan walked along the trail, his mind wandering freely like it often did. He'd finally gotten some time to himself. He'd arrived 2 days earlier than the campers. It had been mandatory so the counselors could go through the motions. Learning rules, regulations, trust exercises with each other, and other random things the camp required. As much as Evan loved to be with people he did need time on his own. he'd awoken early that day to go for a walk on his own. Now glancing at the watch on his wrist he saw the campers had probably already arrive and had begun to get situated.
Shrugging off the idea that he'd have to arrive back quickly, Evan sat down on a conveniently placed rock and stared out passed the trees. He could catch a glimpse of the lake, and if he continued on further he would be able to look right out at the beauty of nature before him. Yet, he'd have to head back soon. With a sigh he leaned back on his hands which were place behind him on the rock, and sat silently.
